Would You Give Your Jacket To Johannes?

What would you do if you saw a child dying of cold at a bus stop?

Mayday SOS has conducted a social experiment through the streets of Norway to publicize the situation of children in Syria, to raise funds for  Village SOS Childen  in his winter campaign. It has been done through a hidden camera at a bus stop in Oslo, Norway.

If you saw a child without a coat at a bus stop by the intense freezing cold Would you trust your jacket? When Johannes (child) was asked why not wearing coat, he replied that it had been stolen. Most of the people that were in that situation were kind enough to give the kid gloves, scarves or a hoodie.

This Mayday SOS campaign has been created to raise awareness about children in need in Syria. The success of the campaign has been swift and just four days later on their website have raised over 2 million NOK for children of Syria.

After this spectacular figure the Director of the Syrian project Rasha Muhrez SOS Children Villages said: "Thank you for your donations are much needed Winter nights here in Syria are still cold and cruel, especially for children who have lost their homes. . many children are still living in shelters that are not protected against the cold and therefore need warm clothing and aid to survive. "

The situation of children in Syria is very difficult. Most of them live in fear not knowing that come in tomorrow. Situations that live alone or with their families are unbearable. Many have lost all their positions. But the struggle to give them a roof over their heads starts Village SOS Childen .
